Obituary

Amy Sue (Palm) Myers, 53, of Leechburg, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2023, after her courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 15, 1969, and is the daughter of Thomas Palm of Aiken, SC and the late Susan (Ahlheim) Palm. She was a 1988 graduate of Cherry Hill High School East, Cherry Hill, NJ. She furthered her education with an associate degree in Secretarial Science from Geneva College (1991, Beaver Falls, PA). She had a successful career as a real estate agent, lastly working for Coldwell Banker. Amy was a member of Redemption Church in Lower Burrell, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Along with her husband, she started an internet company, which brought the internet to the Kiski Valley in 1996 and grew to the 5th largest internet provider in Western Pennsylvania. She enjoyed photography, but her true passion was her family.

Amy is survived by her husband of 33 years Christopher Myers, her son, Gilchrist (Mallory) Myers of Flower Mound, TX; her daughter, Kaitlin (Kaleb) Jones of Stow, OH, her sister, Nancy (Michael) Everest of Santa Barbara, CA, nieces and nephews Thomas, Erika, Elena, Matthias. Her mother and father-in-law Steve and Gloria Myers of Leechburg, PA.

She was preceded in death by her mother Susan Ahlheim Palm.

2:00 - 4:00 pm

Family and friends will be received for a visitation on Friday, September 29, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Redemption Church in Lower Burrell. Another viewing will be on Saturday from 10 am till the time of service at 11 am. Pastor Fred Neal will be officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to the Janette L. Gamble Funeral Home Inc.
