Ashley Kristin Young, 42, of New Kensington, passed away on October 1, 2023, after a long illness. She was born on December 27, 1980, and is the daughter of Bryan and Lisa Young of Vandergrift and the late Debbie McKrisky. She was a graduate of Deer Lakes High School. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Ashley is survived by her father, Bryan Young; her sons, Elijah D. and Zechariah J. Bruni of New Kensington; her grandparents, Virginia Young and Joseph Fernandez of Delmont and Richard and Margaret Young of Washington Township; two sisters, Malary McKrisky of Lower Burrell and Scout Young of Leechburg; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Debbie McKrisky and maternal grandparents, Irene and William Hetu.
