Betty Pollock, 82 of Leechburg went to be with the lord and her late husband. She was born December 8, 1931. The daughter of the late Howard and Christina (Hoffman) Wise. Betty had a heart of gold and a smile that touched everyone she knew.  She loved family gatherings, square dancing, roller skating, and she helped the relay for life for nineteen years selling candy to raise money for the cancer society. Her favorite pass time was having coffee at McDonalds with her friends.  She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Pollock for 47 years, loving mother of Darlene (Ron) Neil of Vandergrift,  Cheryl Gamble of Leechburg,  Bonnie (Melvin) Fowler of Avonmore,  and Alan (Lynn) Pollock of Apollo, nine grandchildren Chrissy, Amy, William Jr., Laurie, Mark, Frank Jr., William, Jennifer, Amanda and ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Beside her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Ralph Pollock, a son in law William Gamble, two sisters Dolores Butler, Dorothy Porter and a brother Dewey Adams.  Friends and Family will be received on  Saturday July 26, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. with a service at 7:30 pm. at the Janette L. Gamble funeral Home Inc.  2842 River Road Vandergrift, Pa 15690.  724-567-7006. with Pastor Steve Cooper Officiating.  Private burial will take place at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery.  In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.   Visitation will be Saturday  July 26, 2014  from 2-4 pm. and 6-8 pm.  at the Janette L.
