Carol Ann King, 67, of Vandergrift, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018. She was born Dec. 24, 1950, and was the daughter of the late Robert and Agnes (Stefaniak) King. Carol was a 1969 graduate of Kiski Area High School and worked for Reboards Sewing Factory in Washington Township and Big Lots in Leechburg, from where she retired in 2000. She enjoyed playing bingo, computer games, dancing and having fun with family and friends, but her true love was spending time with her son and two grandsons. She is survived by her son, Timothy M. King, of Avonmore; three brothers, Robert (Ronda) King, of Apollo, Richard (Nory) King, of Export, and Edward (Kristen) King, of Apollo; two sisters, Bonnie (Rick) Hughes, of Apollo, and Joyce (Carl) Thomas, of Markel; two grandsons, Brandon and Jarett King, of Vandergrift; her companion of many years, William Reefer, of Vandergrift; many nieces and nephews; and her newest addition to the family, her puppy Lilly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James King, and two nephews, James King Jr. and Joseph Hughes.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2018, with a dove release at 4 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m., when a service will be at 8 p.m., at JANETTE L. GAMBLE FUNERAL HOME INC., 2842 River Road, Vandergrift, PA, 724-567-7006, with Pastor Lee Rupert officiating.
