Carrotte, 78, of Vandergrift, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2024. Born David E. Myers on July 9, 1946, he was the son of the late Rosalind (Shawver) and Ralph Myers Jr. After graduating high school, he lived in California acting then following his career to New York City. Carrotte was a social worker for the City of New York while continuing to work in the acting industry. His career included roles in numerous commercials, soap operas and movies, lending his distinctive talents to productions such as "Kate and Leopold" and "Trading Places." His performances were a testament to his passion for the arts and his ability to bring characters to life. Carrotte had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel, often embarking on journeys with his beloved partner, Sal.

Carrotte is survived by his brother Norman Myers of Vandergrift; two sisters, Linda Ray of Michigan and Ann Myers of Michigan; several nieces and nephews; and his cat, Ella.

In addition to his parents, Carrotte is preceded in death by his soulmate, Sal, and his sister-in-law, Joyce Myers.
