Clayton "Pete" Bertino, 66, of Leechburg passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022. He was born September 26, 1955, and the son of Pearl (Pearce) Bertino of Apollo and the late Steve Bertino. Pete was a graduate of Apollo Ridge High School and a United States Air Force Veteran. He worked in coal mining then retired from the Local 373. Pete enjoyed the outdoors where he was often fishing, hunting, gardening, and riding his Harley. Pete is survived by his wife, Sue Bertino of Leechburg; his son, Adrian Bertino of Leechburg; his daughter, Andrea (Merle) Rome of Leechburg; three brothers: Tony (Brenda) Bertino of Apollo, Steve Bertino of Tionesta, and Jeff Bertino of Indiana, PA, three sisters, Donna Pickett of Anderson Indiana, Tess (Bob) Mangan of Apollo; Geraldine Knepshield of Leechburg; nine grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. In addition to his father, Steve Bertino, Pete is preceded in death by a grandson Christian Cuffia and three brothers: Henry, Steve, and Frank Bertino.
