Cynthia Knepshield, 69, of Vandergrift passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025. She was born on August 21,1955. She is the daughter of Betty Cypher Knepshield and the late William Knepshield. Cynthia loved her 2 cats - Toby & Smoky, traveling, looking at pictures, gardening,  hummingbirds, Being outside in the sunshine and spending time with her family. She found her greatest joy in being a mother to Hope, who was the light of her life. Cynthia was a Kiski Area Graduate class of 1973.

Cindy is survived by her significant other Dave Callen of Vandergrift, mother Betty Knepshield of Apollo, her daughters - Hope (Bryan) Baskett of North Carolina; Sarah (Justin) Crissman of Apollo; and Mandy (Raymond) Varner of Apollo. A sister Becky Ferguson (Cliff) of Apollo, niece Jennifer (Nick) Egley of Shelocta, nephew William Ferguson of Gallitzin, and five grandchildren.

In addition to her father, Cindy is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Jamie, and her brother-in-law Paul "Buck" Ferguson.
