E. Mildred Crooks 90 of Apollo went to be with the Lord Tuesday July 1, 2014.  She was born January 15, 1924 and the Daughter of the late J. Ralph and Clara (Bence) Morrison.  Mildred was a member of the Kiski Valley Presbyterian Church in Allegheny Township.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren, cooking holiday dinners, gardening and decorating her home.  Mildred had a heart of gold. Her laughter and smile will be greatly missed.  She was known for her faith and courage during her long illness.  She is survived by her husband and soul mate of 72 years C. Raymond Crooks of Apollo, three beautiful daughters Linda Jackson of Apollo, Pamela Crooks of Apollo, and CharlaneWirick of Parks Township.  One sister Jean Rump of Michigan, one brother Joseph R. (Jan) Morrison of Georgia.  Three grandchildren Troy (Angie) Jackson of West Leechburg,  Tricia (Jeff) Larkin of Leechburg and Michael (Angela) Wirick of Pine Richland.  Four great grandchildren Kylie Jackson, Tory Jackson, Dylan Rossi and Brett Rossi.  In addition to Mildred'sparents she is preceded in death by three brothers Robert, Jack, and Arthur Morrison and two sons-in-law Albert Jackson and Tim Wirick. Friends and family will be received for a visitation Wednesday July 2, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Janette L. Gamble Funeral Home.2842 River Road Vandergrift PA 15690 (724) 567 7006 and on Thursday July 3, 2014 at 10:00 am till time of service at 11:00 am at the Kiski Valley Presbyterian Church, Allegheny Township 115 Wilkins Street Leechburg Pa 15656. With Pastor Allen Edwards officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kiski Valley Presbyterian Church.
