Earliene Vera Klingensmith (Fox) was born on November 6, 1932, and passed peacefully on August 13, 2026, leaving behind a legacy defined by love, devotion, and gentle grace. For those privileged to know her, Earliene’s presence was a quiet but steadfast light—one that warmed every gathering, soothed every trial, and celebrated every joy always with her bright smile.

The love story she shared with her beloved husband of 69 years, Harold E. Klingensmith, stretched across decades, weathering the seasons of life with unwavering support and affection. Anyone who had encountered them together saw a marriage of true love.

Earliene was an avid crocheter making an assortment of things and she also enjoyed being a part of the Red Hat Society to which she had made many friends. Earliene was a devoted member to Faith Lutheran Church, Oklahoma Boro for many years and upon its closure continued her faith at the Faith Lutheran Apollo.

She is survived by her children, Randy (Kate) Klingensmith, Rick (Kelly) Klingensmith, and Renee (Steven) Barnes, carry her spirit forward in their own families, having grown up enveloped in their mother’s encouragement and care. Earliene’s embrace extended gracefully as her family grew, welcoming the grandchildren who brought her so much delight: Trisha (Cody) Rainey, Madison Klingensmith, Evan Klingensmith, Rachel (Ryan) Cleland, Austin Barnes, Audrey Barnes, Ashley (Ricky) Yockey, and Chelsea Barnes along with five great grandchildren a nephew Steve Fox. And a niece Eileen Fox.

Earliene is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Elsie (Ringstom) Fox, a brother Norman Fox and a nephew William Fox.

Earliene Vera Klingensmith’s legacy lives on in the hearts of all who loved her and in the bonds of family that were truly her life’s greatest work.
