Eugene E. Trout, 68, of Ford City passed away Monday, March 24, 2025. He was born on July 31, 1956, and the son of the late Paul and Ruth Miller Trout Bryan. Gene attended West Mifflin High School. He was a United States Marine Veteran. He retired from First Baptist Church of Pittsburgh as their maintenance employee. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kittanning. Gene was a double lung and liver recipient, having the transplant in 2009. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed his motorcycle, Christmas trees, his church choir and painting. Gene will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of thirteen years, Sandra Diehl Trout of Ford City, a son Christopher (Julie) Trout of Brentwood PA, a daughter Samantha (Max) Turner of Butler, seven grandchildren Lance, Camaro, Abigail, Callie, Caden, Crixus, Cylas, two brothers Robert Jeffers of Ford City and Paul (Joanne) Trout of Wisconsin, three sisters Michele "Shelly" Jewell, Diane Sedlak, and Jennifer Trout.

There will be a private memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to C.O.R.E. (Center for Organ Recovery and Education).
