Evelyn Ann Watson 75 of Vandergrift passed away Monday, October 4, 2021. She was born September 9, 1946 and is the daughter of the late Lewis and Phillis (Glaister) Smith. Evelyn was a graduate of Freeport High School and was once employed as a custodian at PPG. Evelyn enjoyed crocheting, crafts, picnics with family and was a true animal lover. She is survived by her two sons Edward Watson of Tarentum, Jack (Leyanna) Watson Jr. of New Kensington and her care giver whom she thought of as a  daughter Veronica Yonek of Vandergrift, six grandchildren Ashley, Josh, Connor, Zachary, Samantha, Brady, and  a brother David Smith of Tacoma Washington. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother Dwayne Smith and a sister Shirley Smith. A memorial service will be on  Thursday October 7, 2021 from 4 to 6 pm., with a service at 6pm at the Janette L.
