Gina Renee Ciuca, 46, of New Kensington, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024. Born in Bath, Maine, on February 23, 1978, she was a miracle baby, entering the world at just one pound and three ounces. Gina was the beloved daughter of Raymond Ciuca and the late Susan (James) Smeltzer Tonecha. As a member of Pine Run Church, Gina found joy in her faith. She was also an avid sports fan, cheering passionately for wrestling and the Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers. Her enthusiasm for genealogy led her to extensively research her family history. Gina's educational journey included Kiski Area High School, a private school in Spring Church, and culminated in her graduation with the class of 2001 from the Commonwealth Technical Institute. Gina cherished family gatherings, and her love for cooking and baking always added a special touch to these events.

Gina is survived by her father, Ray Ciuca of Vandergrift; her brother, Ryan Ciuca of Parks Township; her sister, Lindsey (Cody) Aites of Leechburg; two half-brothers, James and Joseph Tonecha; her treasured support cat, Kolosso; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Gina is preceded in death by her mother, Susan (James) Tonecha; her paternal grandparents, Henry and Carol Crosby Cicua; and her maternal grandparents, Bill and Mildred Eileen (Bowman) Smeltzer.

A visitation will be on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm and on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at the Janette L.
