Obituary

Glenn M. Walter, 74 of Leechburg passed away, September 4, 2014.  He was born September 4, 1940 in a farmhouse one mile from Spaces Corners and the Son of the late Harry and Gertrude Morey Walter.  Glenn was a veteran of the United States Army.  His usual occupation was a truck driver and a carpet installer for thirty years.  He was a member of the Pine Creek Baptist Church where he attended during his childhood, a life member of VFW, and Moose.  Glenn was a story teller, he loved life and made the most of it.  Glenn enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his late wife Millie.  His love for her was a love of a lifetime, true soul mates.  They are rejoicing in the hands of the lord.  Glenn is survived by his Son Chuck Walter of Chico California, three Step Children Michael (Jennifer) Burns of Hyde Park, Stephen (Rochelle) Burns of Ford City, Sheri (Chris) Verdecchia of Fredrick VA,  Two Sisters Kathy (James) Emigh of Falls Creek, Geneva Blair of Blanket Hill, a Nephew James (Sheila) Emigh of Falls Creek, four Grandchildren and five Step Grandchildren.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Millie Walter and Sister Charleen Mullins. Friends and Family will be received on Monday, September 8, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm with a funeral service at 4:00 pm at the Janette L.
