Helen Mae (Spelock) Fisher, 89, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on February 23, 2025. A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, Helen's kindness, compassion, and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her.

Born on August 7, 1935, to the late John and Josephine Spelock, Helen was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Anne (Dutch) Debrosky; her children, Eugene Fisher, Diana Bridwell, and Brenda Fisher; and her granddaughter, Amy Fisher.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Mary Lou (Ron) Fulton; her son, David Fisher (Cindy Shilling); nine grandchildren: Carlen Rich, Frank (Lynn) Buccardo, Jolene (Hank) McKnight, Melissa (Shawn) Lanious, Mike (Michelle) Buccardo, Sarah Fisher, Martha Fisher, Marque Stano, and Cayden Stano; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and her brothers, John "Sonny" (Susan) Spelock, Tom (Mary Anne) Spelock, and Jim (Sue) Spelock.

Helen lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished traditions. She found joy in baking and cooking, especially making pierogies and nut rolls, as well as singing, polka dancing, knitting, playing bingo, and visiting the casino. She was a lifelong member of St. Ambrose Church in Avonmore, an active member of the Avonmore Polish Club and the Avonmore Italian Club, and a proud retiree of Kiski Preparatory Academy, where she worked until the age of 83. She also worked at the Apollo Elks Club and the Salina Inn, making lasting friendships along the way.

Helen's warmth and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed but fondly remembered in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
