Obituary

Isabell Wagner passed away Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, surrounded by family. She was born Aug. 5, 1932, in Allegheny Township, to the late John and Barbara Havas Pinker. Isabell was married to the late Joseph "Pep" Wagner for 44 years. She attended Freeport High School, class of 1952. She worked for 20 years at the former Rubins Department stores in Leechburg, Vandergrift and Apollo. She was a life member of the ladies auxiliary of the VFW Post 92 Lower Burrell as well as a member of the Moose in Lower Burrell, member of the American Legion of Lower Burrell and life member of the Hungarian Club, Georgetown, Pa. Isabell is survived by her son, Steve (Nancy) Wagner, of Indiana; a daughter, Barbra A. (Ray) Monnot, of Florida; her grandchildren, Jacob and Zachary Wagner, of Indiana, Marsha Monnot, of Florida, and Julie Kamody, of Florida; and stepgrandson, Andy Monnot. Isabell is also survived by her friend, Catherine Pinker, of Allegheny Township; and sister-in-law; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces, nephews and a great-great-nephew. Isabell enjoyed going to bingo, the casinos, watching the Steelers, going to Pirates games and her many trips to California and Myrtle Beach. She enjoyed her weekly luncheons with lady friends and classmates. Isabell loved spending time with family especially during the holidays. Isabell as a member of Christ the King Parish, Gilpin Township. Per Isabell's request, there will be no viewing. All arrangements are private.
