James Colvin, 86, of Apollo, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016.  He was born in New Kensington and lived in the Apollo area most of his life, and was the son of the late James and Nellie Colvin.  James was self employed as a truck driver. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, working on his cars, gardening, and talking with his neighbors and friends.  Jim had a heart of gold and a laugh that will be missed by all who knew him, but his true love was his family, especially his grandchildren.  Survivors include his son Terry (Linda) Colvin of Hyde Park, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and a sister, Doris Held of Philadelphia.  In addition to his parents Jim is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Loretta Colvin, whom was the love of his life. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday at 10:00 am till the time of service at 11:00 am at JANETTE L.
