Obituary

James Cramer, 83, of Leechburg passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022. He was born February 23, 1939, and the son of the late Wallace and Mary (Ridenour) Cramer. Jim was a United States Army Aircraft Veteran. He retired from US Steel as a mobile equipment operator. He enjoyed mowing, gardening, and tinkering with small engine repairs. He was a member of The Church of God in North Apollo and assisted teaching Sunday school with his wife. Jim is survived by two sons, Kevin Cramer of Indiana and William (Christel Burkett) Leah of Vandergrift; a brother, Raymond Cramer of Texas; three grandchildren: Tiffany Burkett, Troy Fulton, and Zachary Cramer; three great grandchildren: Eliza, Wyatt, and Waylon. In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Cramer; his step daughter, Sally Cramer; three sisters: Lilian, Freda, and Vera; and a sister-in-law, Elaine Caing. Family and Friends will be received on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the Janette L. Gamble Funeral Home Inc. 2842 River Road Vandergrift PA 15690 with a service at 2:00 pm with Pastor Lee Rupert officiating. Interment will take place at Riverview Cemetery in Apollo with full military honors from Vandergrift Honor Guard. Online condolences may be made at gamblefh.com.
