James Wingenroth, 79, of Parks Township passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022. He was born April 23, 1942, the son of the late Russell and Louise (Gerson) Wingenroth. Jim was a United States Navy Veteran. He retired from UPMC as a Director of Plant Maintenance. He enjoyed the outdoors, trout fishing and gardening but especially loved spending time with his family. Jim is survived by his wife, Nancy Wingenroth of Parks Township; a daughter, Carrie (Mark) Sandy of North Huntington; a stepdaughter, Lottie Morrison of Parks Township; two stepsons, Howard (Darla) Mitchell of Plum and Eddie (Jill) Morrison of Allegheny Township; a brother Michael (Beryl) Wingenroth of Penn Hills; and four grandchildren: Madalyn Trisch, Emily (Jared) Matthews, Lexie and Coby Morrison. In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his previous wife, Diana Wingenroth; his son Burton Wingenroth and his sister Cheryl Fuller. Arrangements have been entrusted to Janette L. Gamble Funeral Home Inc. 2842 River Road, Vandergrift. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later time.
