Janet Louise Snyder,73, of Vandergrift went to be with the lord on November 14, 2017 after her courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family and best friend whom was like a sister to her Lori Krajci. She was born July 29, 1944 and the daughter of the late Adam and Mary Nigra Sack. Janet was a member of St. Gertrude Church in Vandergrift. She was once employed by Byers Taxi as a bus driver and also a crossing guard for Vandergrift elementary. Janet enjoyed reading and collecting ceramic pigs. She is survived by her daughter Teressa (Brian Stone) Shotts of Vandergrift, a son James Harley of Hyde Park, two Grandchildren Skyler and Paige Matusiak, a companion David Haskell of Vandergrift and a brother in law Timothy Doane of Florida. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son Richard Harley, sister Patricia Sack Doane and her godmother Elsie Hobbins. Family and Friends will be received on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at The Janette L.
