Janice Kingirski, 81, of Vandergrift went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2020. She was born on September 11, 1939, and the daughter of the late Stanley and Margaret (Pollack) Presensky. Janice owned The Bookshelf in Vandergrift, PA and was a homemaker. She loved her family and her community. She attended St. Gertrude Parish, Vandergrift and was actively involved in the Vandergrift Live Casino Theater, Library Club, Garden Club, and Town Council. She dedicated years to volunteering for the Salvation Army, Department for Persons with Disabilities, Summer Food Service Program, Grassroots, and Local Democrats. Family was Janice's greatest accomplishment and always a priority in her life. She cherished the time she spent with her loved ones, especially her grandson. Janice is survived by her daughter, Margaret (Christopher) Kingirski Johnson; adopted daughter, Kimberly (John) Cole of Pittsburgh; brother, Charles (Shinobu) Presensky Jr. of Florida; and two sisters, Bernice (David) Tessier of Florida and Sandy (Patrick) Strong of Apollo. In addition to her parents, Janice is preceded in death by her husband Charles Kingirski; grandson, Brenden Johnson; and infant granddaughter, Jacqui Raquel Johnson. Friends and family will be received Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at 4:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm at The Janette L. Gamble Funeral Home Inc. 2842 River Road Vandergrift, PA (724) 567-7006. Interment will take place at Iselin Union Cemetery at a later date.
