Jared Johnson, 32, of Vandergrift went to be with the Lord July 11, 2021. He was born February 4, 1989, and the son of James Johnson and Kim Klingensmith. Jared was a Kiski Area High School graduate, worked in the construction field as a self-employed painter, and attended the Church of God in North Apollo. He was a very skilled and talented painter, who took pride in his work. Jared loved the outdoors, going camping and fishing. Nature is where he found his serenity. He was always an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Alabama Crimson Tide fan, but Faith and Family were always the most important. Jared loved spending time with his family and two sons who were the light of his life. He is survived by his father James (Janet) Johnson of Massachusetts, mother Kim (Bryan) Klingensmith of Vandergrift, two sons Isaac and Isaiah and their mother Tiffany Taylor, a grandmother Tommie Sue Johnson, his brother Julian Johnson, niece Jalyn Johnson, sister Carmen Johnson, four aunts: Wendy (Harold George) Young, Sheila, Tina, and Toni Johnson, two uncles Robert (Janet) Young and Curtis Johnson, and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents John and Eleanor Young, his paternal grandfather George Johnson, and step grandmother Carolynn Johnson. Family and Friends will be received Thursday July 15, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm with a service at 8:00 pm at the Janette L.
