Jennifer L. (Hughan) Sample, 28, of Parks Township, passed away Thursday evening, July 18, 2013. She was born Jan. 16, 1985, a daughter of Jeffrey and Susan (Connor) Hughan. She was a graduate of Kiski Area High School, and was previously employed by AT&T. Jennifer loved her family and her children meant the world to her. She had an amazing smile and laugh. She loved the outdoors, hiking, camping and vacations with her sons. A favorite pastime was making jewelry and photography. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Eck; and her grandfather, Paul Hughan. Jennifer is survived by her husband, Cody Sample, of Parks Township; a son, Benjamin Sample; her parents, Jeffrey and Susan Hughan, of Leechburg; two sisters, Amy (Shaun) Feldbusch, of Vandergrift, and Julie (Corey McCullough) Hughan, of Vandergrift; and two nieces, Amber Aikins and Kaylee McCullough. Jennifer loved her dogs, Riley and Molly, and her cat, Kit Kat. She had a heart of gold and will be sadly missed. A private family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2013, and family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the JANETTE L. GAMBLE FUNERAL HOME INC., 2842 River Road, Vandergrift, PA 15690. Additional visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service at noon Wednesday in First Church of God, North Apollo, with Pastor Lee Rupert officiating. A private family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2013, and family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the JANETTE L.
