Jerad Matthew Miller, beloved husband, father, son, and friend, passed away suddenly on June 24, 2026, in Pittsburgh at the age of 48. Jerad was born on August 20, 1978, in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania, and throughout his life he brought warmth, laughter, and kindness to all who knew him.

Jerad cherished his family deeply, sharing 23 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Amy Neil Miller. Together, they raised two sons, Tyler and Morgan, who were not only his proudest accomplishments but also his greatest joys. He found immense fulfillment in supporting his boys, especially during their hockey games and theater performances—favorite pastimes that brought him boundless pride and excitement. Jerad will be remembered for the way he prioritized family time, creating treasured memories with his loved ones both at home and in the great outdoors.

His love of nature was ever-present. Jerad was happiest when fishing, hunting, or spending time in his garden. These simple yet meaningful moments reflected his appreciation for life’s quiet blessings and his desire to pass on those values to his sons.

Jerad was known for his sense of humor and easygoing spirit. He had a natural ability to make people laugh, brightening the days of those around him. A hardworking man, he approached every task with determination and an open heart, extending his love not only to his immediate family but to friends and neighbors as well.

He is survived by his wife, Amy Neil Miller; his two sons, Tyler and Morgan Miller; his mother, Deborah Cadamore Miller; his mother-in-law, Darlene Neil; his brother, Brad Miller; and his sister-in-law, Heather Miller. Each of them will hold dear the memory of Jerad’s steadfast love, his generous laughter, and his unwavering support.

Jerad was predeceased by his father, John Miller, and his father-in-law, Ronald Neil.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Janette L. Gamble Funeral Home, 2842 River Road, Vandergrift, PA 15690. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Monday, June 29, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at the same location on Sunday, June 29, 2026, beginning at 4:00 PM, with Pastor Lee Rupert officiating.
