John Thomas Burkett, 69, of Leechburg passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020. He was born on May 29, 1951 and the son of the late Harrison and Ida (Penrose) Burkett. Tom was a graduate from Kiski Area High School and worked at a Box Factory and did lawn maintenance on golf courses for many years. He enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, and being on the Farm. Tom lived on the farm his entire life and died on the land he loved. John is survived by three sisters Jane (Patty) Brewer of Leechburg, Mary Csonka of Vandergrift, and Dorothy Burkett of Allegheny Township, many nieces and nephews, and his close friend Burt Polliard. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his three brothers David, Robert, and James Burkett and sister Marjorie Sinka. Arrangements will be private and are entrusted to the Janette L.
