John Wayne Coutch Sr., 73, of Apollo passed away on December 28, 2021. He was born on February 29, 1948, and the son of the late Marshal and Isabelle (Unger) Coutch. John was employed with the Amfire Mining Co. as a coal miner and an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 4205 of Apollo. He was a dedicated husband and caretaker of his late wife of 52 years. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and family gatherings. He is survived by two sons, John (Bruce Gmys) Coutch Jr. of Pittsburgh and Chad (Charity) Coutch of Karns City; a daughter, Amy McCutchen of Apollo; a brother, Trafford "Bucky" (Belva) Coutch of Reno; two sisters, Linda (Don) Williams of Ohio and Roxanne (Alan) Townsend of Leechburg; seven grandchildren: Jessica, Samantha, Cassandra, Katelyn, Steven, Cody, and Logan; and five great-grandchildren: Carter, Samara, Tripp, Lloyd, and Miles. In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his wife, Susan (McGuire) Coutch; three sisters: Lorraine Rupp, E. Stella Stitt, and Bernice Coutch; and two brothers, Kenneth Coutch and Marshal James Coutch. Family and Friends will be received on Sunday, January 2, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm then on Monday, January 3, 2022, at 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am with Pastor Lee Rupert officiating at the Janette L.
