(28 unread) - jgfuneral - Yahoo Mail   John Robert (Bob) Cuffia Jr., 72, of Gilpin Township, Leechburg, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013. He was born March 7, 1941 and was the son of the late John Robert Cuffia Sr. and Mary Gladys (Umbaugh) Cuffia. He was a Leechburg High School Graduate and served in the Army stationed in Germany from 1961-1964. He was a member of the Teamster for 20 years and retiring from Burrell Construction. In the 1980's he served as a PA State Constable and Deputy Sherriff for Armstrong County. Bob was an officer in the American Legion, Schenely, a member of the Leechburg VFW and the North South Skirmish Assoc (NSSA), Winchester, VA. He also enjoyed spending time with his dog, hunting, fishing, competition-shooting and going to Dizzy's for his morning coffee with friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, John Robert Cuffia and his sister, Nancy L. Holm. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Charlotte Jane (Porter) Cuffia, two sons, James Cuffia and Joseph (Lucinda) Cuffia, both of Gilpin Township, six grandchildren, James, Clifford, John, Cristain, Michael and Janika Cuffia and one great-grandson, Clayton Cuffia.
