John Edward Moon, 68, of East McKeesport passed away peacefully on December 20, 2023, surrounded by family after his courageous battle with cancer. He was born on June 1, 1955, and the son of the late LeRoy and Nellie Moon. John loved having fun at family gatherings. His true passion was Classic Rock music like his favorite bands: Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and The Beatles.

John is survived by his wife of 48 years, Eleanor (Prahl) Neil of East McKeesport; his three daughters: Tracey, Donna and April; four grandchildren; Caitlyn, Emily, Isabella, and Robert; his eight sisters: Lainie, Linda, Peggy, Edna, Karen, Mickey, Diane, and Sandy; and his three brothers: Leroy, Kenny, and Bobby.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his sister Laura.
