John Hartill Sr. passed away September 19, 2014 in Ashland, Wisconsin, He was born August 7, 1919 and  the son of the late Joseph and Vivian (Dilley) Hartill.  John was a veteran of the United States Marine's. where he served in War World two and  received a purple heart for his injuries during his service.  He worked in the construction field most of his life.  John is survived by  a son John (Jane)  Hartill Jr. of Vandergrift, a daughter Norma Jean Mazur of Chicago, A step son Thomas Sherman of Iron River, three step daughters  Lynora, Catherine both of Illinois, Shirley of Minnesota, a sister Betsy Ann Peoples of Lower Burrell, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and four great,  great grandchildren.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Charlott  Hartill and a step son.
