John Taylor, 91, of Leechburg passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025. He was born on July 27, 1933, and the son of the late James and Hattie (Martin) Taylor. John attended West Lebanon High School, before entering the Military, He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War two.. John was employed in the coal mines and later worked with family removing trees. He loved the outdoors, hunting and Fishing. He enjoyed eating at Happy day café where he was always treated like family. He loved spending time with friends and family. He is survived by three sisters Ruth Gamble of Leechburg, Jimi Houry of Elizabeth Pa, Gaye (Veron) Lebret of Spokane WA., two brothers James "Jr" (Sandy) Taylor of Ohio, Stanley Taylor, his god son Steven (Tracy) Dixon of Ford City and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters Marge, Abbey, Anna, two brothers Richard (Dick) and Thomas (Barb) Taylor

Family and friends will be received on Thursday April 24, 2025, from 3pm with to 6 pm with a service immediately following at the Janette L. Gamble Funeral Home Inc. 2842 River Road Vandergrift, Pa 15690, 724-567-7006

The Vandergrift Honor Guard will conduct a military service at 3:15
