Joseph L. Strejcek, 77, of Ford City (formerly of Plum), passed away July 21, 2017. Joseph was born on June 5, 1940, and the son of the late Joseph and Isabelle (Camillo) Strejcek. Joseph was employed as a supervisor at Edgewater Steel in Oakmont, an owner, trainer and driver of race horses at the Meadows and a member of the St John Baptist Church, Plum. He was an avid outdoors man and loved to spend time with his family hunting and fishing. He is survived by three sons: Joseph (Carol) Strejcek Jr. of Mosgrove, Michael Strejcek of Avella, Anthony (Edward) Molnar-Strejcek of Plum, one daughter Darcy (William) Quinn of Parks Township, fifteen grandchildren and numerous great-grand children, and a sister Darlene Watson of Plum. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother James Strejcek. Family and Friends will be received on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm, and on Wednesday, July 26 from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am at The Janette L.
