Karen Jean Gibson, 62, of Kittanning passed away on Saturday November 30, 2024. She was born on July 5, 1962, in Johnstown Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of the late Eugene A. Harris Sr. and Jane Louise (Veney) Harris. Karen loved family gatherings, cooking and baking and playing Scrabble, watching her favorite tv shows like Charmed, StarTrek, Supernatural, and NFL games were some of her favorite things. She enjoyed spending time with her children and the love of her life, her husband of 38 years Mark. Karen had her cosmetology license from Pittsburgh Beauty Academy.

Karen is survived by her husband, Mark Gibson of Kittanning; two sons Mark Gibson the 2nd of Kittanning and Errick Harris of Vandergrift, two daughters Alessandra Gibson of Kittanning and Marshana Harris of Williamsport,  two brother's Eugene  and Phillip Harris of Johnstown, two sisters Colleen Hoyle of Harrisburg and Gina Gibson of Vandergrift, a brother's in law Tracy Gibson of Vandergrift  Doug Hoyle, three sister in laws Felice (Martin)White of New Kensington, Mary Gibson of Greensburg, and Patrice (Samuel) Terrance of Arnold, five grandchildren Abigail, Errick Jr., Marcel, Mya, Arianna, several nieces and nephews and cousins.

In addition to Her parents Karen is preceded in death by two brothers Troy and Mark Harris, and In laws Alfred and Janet Gibson,.

A visitation will be on Thursday, December 5th 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 PM.
