Kent "Dink" Smith 33 of Elderton tragically passed  away on Friday, April 18,2014 with his son and family by his side.  Dink was born on December 23, 1980 and the son of Susan Kepple of Vandergrift and the late Larry Kepple.  He was employed by  Apollo stone Supply in Apollo and was loved by so many.  Dink enjoyed numerous outdoor activates like hunting, fishing, hiking,canoeing, dirt biking and having bonfires.  Dink lived for his son Harley and loved spending time with family and friends.  Dink always had a kind word and smile for everyone.  He was a blessing to know and will be missed by all who knew him.  Dink is preceded in death by his grandfather William Burkett Sr., and a uncle William Burkett Jr.  He is survived by his mother Susan Kepple(Greg Retter)of Vandergrift, a son Harley Smith of Elderton, His grandparents Betty and Don Nicholson of Elderton, two sisters Jessica(Ed)Ressie of Kittaning, Tara Smith of Kittaning, a step brother Chris (Valerie) Kepple of Five Points, an uncle Rodger(Betsy) Burkett of Vandergrift, Aunt Loretta Nicholson of Elderton, niece Brooke and nephews Justin, Jackson, Eddie,cousins Lindsey, Paige,Jeremy and Bryce.  Family and Friends are being received on Tuesday April 22, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm and on Wednesday 10 am till time of service at 11 am at the Janette L. Gamble Funeral Home Inc. 2842 River Road Vandergrift, Pa 15690 724-567-7006 with Pastor Lee Rupert officiating.  Interment will be at Riverview cemetery in Apollo.  In lieu of flowers, Donations will be accepted at Janette L. Gamble Funeral. Family and Friends will be received on Tuesday April 22, 2014 from 2- 4 and 6-8 pm. and on Wednesday April 23, 2014  from 10 till time of service at 11 am. Pastor Lee officiating
