Larry Beattie, 76, of North Washington peacefully passed away on February 8, 2024, surrounded by his family at Forbes Regional Hospital. He was born February 8, 1948, and the son of the late John and Velma (Klingensmith) Beattie.

Larry was a graduate of Kiski Area High School's Class of 1966. After he retired from USX in Braddock, he continued to help as a caretaker to his neighbor and friend.  Larry could always be found outdoors: golfing, skiing, and gardening.  His favorite memories were the time he spent with his family, friends, and neighbors.

Larry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Ann (Crawford) Beattie of North Washington; one stepdaughter, Angela (Troy) Jackson of West Leechburg; two step-granddaughters, Kylie Jackson of Houston Texas and Tory (Jason Brunner) Jackson of Lower Burrell.

Also his brother, Randall (Christine) Beattie of Washington State; his sister, Pamela (Dennis) Flynn of Creekside; nieces and nephews: John (Samantha) Beattie, Leanne (Jamie) Smolinski, Ashley (James) Patterson, Lori Roush, Glenda Brewer, Jennifer (Eric) Peffer, and Steven Brown;

Also, his sisters-in-law, Paula Crawford Archer, JoAnn (Chris) Vinkovich, Nephews, Douglas Molnar, Alex (nieces Mia and Bella) Molnar, niece Theresa (Chad) (nephews Luka and Brooks) Logero. And brother-in-law, Howard (Linda) Crawford (nieces Heather and Holly) of Kentucky.

In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and Friends will be received on Monday, February 12, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am with Pastor Lee Rupert officiating at the Janette L. Gamble Funeral Home Inc. 2842 River Road Vandergrift, Pa 15690 . The Interment will immediately follow at the

Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery, Lower Burrell.
