55 of Ford City went to be with our lord, Thursday April 23, 2014 with his family by his side.  He was Born September 14, 1958 in Kittanning and the son of the late William and Margaret (Polish) Smail.  He was once employed by Allegheny Ludlum and Bassi Roofing.  Louie enjoyed motorcycles and the outdoors where he would hunt and fish and he loved spending time with family and friends.  In addition to his Parents he is preceded in death by his Son, Eric Andrew Krafic.  Lewis is survived by four Daughters Amanda (Ignacio) Moreno  of Monongahela, Savannah Smail of New Jersey, Shawna Priester of Kittanning, and Kayla Hoffman of Kittanning, two Brothers Billy Jo (Pam) Smail, Michael (Brenda) Smail of Ford City, four Sisters Tammy (Martin) Lorrent of Vandergrift, Joyce (Junior) Taylor of Kittanning, Peggy (Nick) Battistelli of Leechburg, Darla Hoffman of Saltsburg and seven Grandchildren. At the family's request there will be a Memorial Service announced at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to the Janette L. Gamble Funeral Home.
