Lois Marie Brown, 55, of North Vandergrift passed away January 30, 2020. She was born March 23, 1964 and the daughter of David Mitcheltree and Jerri Klingensmith. Lois was a United States Army Veteran and a graduate of Bellaire High School in Texas. She was employed by J&D Cleaning Services and was once a clerk in the healthcare industry while living in Texas. Lois also worked on a wild game ranch. She enjoyed gardening, animals, and spending time with family especially her grandchildren who were the light of her life. She is survived by her parents Jerri Klingensmith of North Vandergrift and Carl Dry of Plantersville, Texas, two daughters; Miranda (Robert) Berrett and Alyssa Brown of Vandergrift, stepson Jeremy (Jackie) Brown of Chicora, stepdaughter Jenna (Ryan) Downton of Canada, three brothers; Teddy Mitcheltree of Vandergrift, Victor Dry of Tennessee, and David Mitcheltree of Texas, eight sisters; Tracey (Charles) Fenn, Deborah Dry, Donna (Harry) Schultheis of Spring Church and Toni (Jim) Somerset, Marla (Larry) Richard of Texas and Tonya, Tina, & Yvonne Smurphant of Tarentum, and Eva Zizan of Plum, four grandsons; Jacob, Xzavier, Hunter, and Remington, a granddaughter Adilynne and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by two sisters Sharon Nabors and Dana Hackemack. A celebration of Life for Lois will take place on Monday, February 3, 2020 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm with a service at 5:00 pm at the Janette L. Gamble Funeral Home Inc. 2842 River Road Vandergrift, Pa 724-567-7006 with Pastor Lee Rupert officiating, followed by a dinner at the Parks Township Fire Hall at 6:00 pm.
