Mario Paul Petrella Jr., 40, of Vandergrift passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, after his courageous battle with Leukemia. He was born on August 11, 1982, and the son of Mary (Duane Baker) Petrella. Mario attended Kiski Area High School and enjoyed the outdoors where he was often hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family, especially his son, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mario is survived by his son, Aiden Petrella; his daughter, Cianna Lily; three sisters: Kelly (Brian) Petrella, Emily Petrella, and Crystal (Tyler) Della Maggiore; his brother, Nathan (Kayla) Petrella; 10 nieces and nephews: Hayley, Abigail, Connor, Mikey, Elianna, Emmett, Gabriela, Charli, Grayson, and Penelope; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mario is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Rodney Klingensmith and paternal grandparents, Antimo and Arlene Petrella.

Family and Friends will be received for a visitation on Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm with Pastor Lee Rupert officiating at the Janette L.
