Melissa Ann Garver, 54, of Vandergrift went to be with the Lord on August 30, 2022, after her courageous battle with colon cancer. She was born on January 18, 1968, and the daughter of Paula (Eyler) Garver and the late Augustus Garver. Missy loved spending time with her sons and grandson. She enjoyed motorcycles, camping, Star Wars, and being with family and friends. Missy is survived by her mother, Paula Garver of Homer City; her husband, Michael Carricato of Vandergrift; two sons, Robert and Jonathon Carricato; one grandson, Dominic Carricato, and his mother, Josephine Stump of Vandergrift; three sisters: Connie Hubert of Vandergrift, Celinda Hartzell of Ford City, and Peggi Garver of New Kensington; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her father, Missy is preceded in death by a sister, Tammy Burdette, and her grandparents, Gilbert and Alice Garver and Chuck and Peg Batterbush.
