Patricia Biss, age 79 of Vandergrift, PA, passed away peacefully after a brief battle with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. A devoted member of St. Paul Highfield Church, where she also served on church counsel. She was also employed at Vandergrift Pharmacy where she loved meeting the residents of Vandergrift.

One of her biggest joys in life was spending time with her family. Family was one of the most important things to her, especially spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always looked forward to the yearly family vacation to her favorite spot, Edinboro Lake. She was a selfless person, who always put everyone before herself, but enjoyed blowing off some steam at the slot machines on occasion.

Her greatest act of love was caring for her mother through life's final chapter, giving of herself with patience, kindness, and an unwavering heart. Though saying goodbye was difficult, she carried her parents' love with her every day. Now, she has been reunited with both her mother and father in Heaven, where their family bond continues in everlasting peace.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Alma Pearson, father, Russell Pearson, husband, Fred Biss, and brother-in-law, Michael Rossi.

To all of her family members she was lovingly known as Aunt Peg, Pam, Pang, Biss, or any combination of them. Patricia is survived by her children, Scott (Michelle) Biss and Cammie (Steven) Fleming. Grandchildren Joshua (Samantha) Biss, Katelyn (Derek) Beer, Maria DiNunzio (Zac Horner), Drew DiNunzio-Biss (Morgan Hepler), Olivia DiNunzio-Biss, Anastasia Flemming, Thomas Flemming, Mary Kate Flemming, Joseph Flemming, and Nomi Flemming. Great-Grandchildren Evelyn Hubert, Emorie Beer, Elma Beer, Lillianna Horner, Kinsley Biss, Colt Biss. Siblings Russell (Regina) Pearson and Sandra Rossi (Leland Brown). Nieces and Nephews: Michael (Jennifer) Rossi, Isabella Rossi, Madelyn Rossi, Adam Rossi, Amy Rossi (Drew Loutzenhiser), Stephen (Niki) Pearson, Eva Pearson, and Cooper Pearson.

Per Patricia’s request there will be no visitation. There will be a memorial service August 8, at 11:00am at St. Paul Highfield Church at 1595 Dime Rd. Vandergrift, PA 15690. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Patricia’s name to St. Paul Highfield Church. To quote her mother, “I was here, now I’m gone, I’m fine.”
