Obituary

Patricia Ann Krafick, 78, of Apollo, passed away in her home, surrounded by family on Monday, November 25, 2013. She was a lifetime Kiski Valley resident.   She was born May 22, 1935 to the late Thomas A. and Isabelle (Crocker) Gibbon.  Pat was a member of the Lord's Church. Throughout her life, she worked as a secretary and bookkeeper at United Cerebral Palsy and Taylor Marine and as a nurses aid at the Belair and West Haven nursing homes. She enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, and loved spending time with her family. Pat had a heart of gold and loved to laugh and enjoy life.    Pat is survived by eight children:  Cathy Davis of Apollo, Frank (Laurel) Krafick of California, Karen (Edward) Zemba of Alaska, Joanne (James) Domire of Hawthorn, Christine (Timothy) Coover of Delaware, Beth (Tom) Griffith of Apollo, Michelle (John) Hibell of New Bethlehem, and Marian Hogan of Leechburg. Pat is also survived by three siblings: Connie (Everett) Miller of California, Pamela Suppock of Carmichaels and Thomas (Teresa) Gibbon of Levittown.  She had twenty-seven grandchildren and thirty-one great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Frances (Daniel) Clark.   There will be no public visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 30, 2013  at the Janette L. Gamble Funeral Home, 2842 River Road, Vandergrift. Minister Ken Erb will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the United Cerebral Palsy of Pittsburgh, 4638 Centre Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
