Paul Charles Wyatt, 78, of Vandergrift, went home to be with our Lord Thursday, April 3, 2014. He was born April 13, 1935, a son of the late Wilbur and Anna (Knepshield) Wyatt. Paul was self-employed at Hartman Auto Service in Vandergrift and an Army veteran. He enjoyed talking on his C.B. radio and scanner, restoring antique cars and spending time with his family, especially his daughter and grandchildren. He will be remembered for his strength in any situation. He was a fighter and loved to make people laugh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Evelyn (Morrow) Wyatt. He is survived by his daughter, Ruth Ann Kelly, of Apollo; two grandchildren, Braedon and Madison; and two sisters, Mary Lou Hild, of Kittanning, and Bonnie (John French) Suveges, of North Apollo. Family and friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2014, and 10 to 11 a.m., the time of services, Monday, April 7, 2014, at the JANETTE L. GAMBLE FUNERAL HOME INC., 2842 River Road, Vandergrift, PA 15690, 724-567-7006, with the Rev. Jeff Youell officiating. Full military burial will be held at Elderton Cemetery. A special thank you to the staff at Pleasant Ridge nursing home and Grane Hospice for the care provided. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the family.
Family and Friends will be received on Sunday, April 6, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and on Monday from 10 till time of service at 11 am.
