Randy D. Blose, 59, of Vandergrift, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013, at West Haven Manor. He was born Sept. 29, 1953, the son of the late Gardner and Bertha Blose. Randy was a mechanic, working on heavy equipment. In the past, he worked for Eljer's in Ford City. He had a love for life and enjoyed his family and friends. Randy spent time hunting and fishing and his favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his former wife, Linda Blose, of Vandergrift; a daughter, Melissa Bassett, of Vandergrift; four grandchildren, Rashaun, Yazmene, Gavon and Alaya; a brother, Harry (Beverly) Blose, of Ford City; three sisters, Sandra Stevens, of Ford City, Desira (George) Reesman, of Ford City, and Clara (Ron) Beers, of Manorville. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Arlene Walter. There will be a memorial service from 6 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the JANETTE L.
