Rebecca Jo Shaner, 60, of Leechburg, passed away on June 20, 2025. Born on July 20, 1964, she was the cherished daughter of Shirley Shaner and the late Albert Shaner. Rebecca attended Leechburg High School and went on to build a meaningful career as a self-employed home healthcare provider, dedicating her life to caring for others with compassion and grace. Rebecca had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy and serenity in fishing. She had a creative spirit and spent countless hours crafting, making handmade items that brought warmth and beauty into the lives of those around her. Her heart was especially full when she was caring for people and her beloved dog, Dots, who was a constant companion and source of comfort and joy.

Rebecca is survived by her mother, Shirley Shaner; her sons, Michael (Tammy) Shaner of North Vandergrift and Joseph (Cassandra) Shaner of Leechburg; her brothers, LeRoy Shaner and Mark Shaner of Vandergrift; her sisters, Laurie Shaner of Vandergrift and Lynnette Shaner of Ohio; her grandson, Devon Cunningham; and her life companion, Raymond Fennell of Leechburg.

In addition to her father, Albert Shaner, Rebecca was preceded in death by her brothers, Dave Shaner and Greg Shaner.
