Rheta A. Kesler, 61, of Vandergrift, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 4, 2016.  She was born May 25, 1954, and the daughter of the late Lois (Bowser) and Robert Kesler.  Rheta was a member of the Apollo Free Methodist Church and attended Kiski Area High School.  She then went on to dental school.  She lived in the Vandergrift and Kepple Hill area for most of her life.  Rheta was employed in various occupations through the years.  She enjoyed painting, ceramics, cooking, listening to oldies, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Rheta has always been referred to as Rhe by her family.  She is survived by her sister, Carol (Stephen) Patrick of North Apollo; a nephew, Stephen (Bud) Patrick of Cadogan; a niece, Jennifer (Frank) Matarrese; a great-nephew, Anthony Matarrese and a great-niece, Kaitlyn Matarrese all of Kittanning.  She is also survived by some very special relatives she always kept close to her heart.  In addition to her parents,  Rheta is preceded in death by three infant siblings, Lori, William, and Linda Kesler. Friends and family will be received on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 1:00 to 3:00 and 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with services immediately following at the JANETTE L.
