Sylvia Fairman, 86, of Leechburg entered into eternal rest on March 24, 2023. She was born on March 27, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Emanuel and Martha (Knepshield) Fatseas. Sylvia could always be found cooking, baking, and bringing everyone together for family dinners. She was a sweet and lovely person who cherished her time spent with her family, especially sleepovers with her grandchildren.

Sylvia is survived by her two daughters, Kimberly Snyder of Gilpin and Tracy Sallade of Apollo; five grandchildren: Jody (Mathew) Mammay of Tarentum, James (Tiffany) Walker of Homer City, Samuel (Tanya) Walker of Gilpin, Cassandra (Eric) Walker of Apollo, and Nicole Taylor of Gilpin; eleven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sylvia is preceded in death by her husband, William Fairman; her son Terry Fairman; her brother, Don Talmadge; and her sister, Madolyn Steim.

Family and friends will be received for a visitation on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from 4:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00 pm at The Janette L.
