Telford "Pete" Williamson, 80, of Parks Township went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. He was born on September 12, 1942, and was the son of the late Telford and Lucille (Benninger) Williamson. Pete is a graduate of Elders Ridge High School, class of 1961 and a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of The First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Leechburg and the Vandergrift VFW.  Pete became disabled and retired as a Machinist from Pittsburgh Brass Manufacturing.  He continued to keep busy as he volunteered with the Kiski Area Marching Band, attended Kiski Area football games, wrestling matches and Burrell Band functions as much as he could. He most recently was a part-time cook for Pine View Personal Care Home.  Pete loved to golf and loved to garden, a skill learned from his late grandmother Mary Virginia (McDivitt) Williamson, but he really enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Pete is survived by his two daughters, Teresa (Jason) Delp of Allegheny Township and Holly (Dave) Manchini of Lower Burrell; five grandchildren: Alexander and Nicholas Delp, Michael, Gabriel, and Bethany Manchini; his sister, Shirley Ann (George) Hobbins; and his beloved dog and companion Freddie.

In addition to his parents, Pete is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Alice Jane (Lee) Williamson; his brother, Ronald Leeland Williamson; his sister, Patricia Jane (Williamson) King; and several aunts and uncles.

Family and friends will be received for visitation on Monday, March 20, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 9:00 pm at The Janette L. Gamble Funeral Home, Inc. 2842 River Road, Vandergrift, PA 15690 (724) 567-7006.  Visitation will also be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at The First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 358 Main Street, Leechburg, PA 15656, with Pastor James Arter officiating. Interment will take place at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery with full military honors from Vandergrift Honor Guard.
